Helmy was founded in 1988 and incorporated in 1990 by Abe Helmy, a Ph.D. graduate of Urban Design/Engineering from the School of Politecnico in Milano and by Mona Helmy, a BFA/Architecture graduate of UTSA. Together with an excellent team of talented designers, precision toolmakers and meticulous operators transformed the company into a plastic forming industry leader.

Helmy works with a wide variety of plastic materials and with gauges ranging from 0.01'' to 0.50''. We form both thin gauge parts such as blisters, clamshells, and packaging trays, and thick gauge parts such as displays and components. We offer many in-house services including Industrial Design and Design Assistance, Tooling, CNC Trimming, Prototyping and Assembly. We have manufactured structural, decorative and packaging products for many industries, including medical, cosmetics, food/beverage, computer, air-conditioning, and landscaping.
